Through the decades, each generation built upon the work of the previous one expanding operations, developing technical expertise, and supporting key industries across the country with refractory solutions. After World War II, the business evolved into a major supplier for power plants, cement factories, and heavy industry.

In the 1980s, facing national deindustrialization, we adapted by entering global markets and expanding our product lines. Combining our experience with innovation, we introduced artificial stone alongside our traditional refractory materials.

Today, the fifth generation of the Mathios family continues this tradition of resilience, responsibility, and progress. We remain committed to growth through exports while strengthening our presence in the domestic market always guided by the values that have sustained us for over 130 years.
